Arriving at A&A Adventure & Accommodation was an interesting experience from my point of view. And from a high point of view.
I tried the Tower apartment this time. I was a bit afraid of the height wneh I was told that it’s on the 12th floor. “What if the building crashes in case of an earthquake?” This was my main concern. But I got reasurred the building survived the ” ’77 earthquake” which apparently was a serious one, and after that they added some more reinforcements.
Still I was afraid. It’s not easy for a person used to feel the ground under his feet each time he walks. But I accepted. The first few minutes, recovering from a long journey with the elevator, I tried to lie to myself that it’s all in my mind and nothing wrong will happen.
Then I got to the window and I was dazzled: a magnificent panorama of the western part of Bucharest and in front of me the Parliament Palace. I couldn’t have ask for more.
I recommend this apartment for all those who want something different. Still I’m fascinated by this city and still impressed by what I see on my window.
why are you not posting on this blog anymore? i like the descriptions of Bucharest… glad to see a foreigner thinks like that about this town
